The Institute of Business Administration (Bengali: ব্যবসা প্রশাসন ইনস্টিটিউট) of the University of Dhaka, commonly known as IBA, is a business school located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. It's widely hailed as the most prestigious business school in the country.
The Institute of Bankers was registered on the 6 February 1973 as an association under the Societies Registration Act, 1660 (Act No. XXI of 1660). [2] Before that some eminent bankers and other professionals decided, in a meeting held on 26 July 1972, to establish the institute as a professional body of banks and financial institutions in Bangladesh.
Eligible students then take a 100-mark written test, contributing 50% to the total score. Those who perform well in the written test proceed to a communication skill test (viva), which makes up 25% of the total score.
