Farooq Ahmad Khan Leghari (Urdu: سردار فاروق احمد خان لغاری; 29 May 1940 – 20 October 2010) was a Pakistani politician who served as the eighth president of Pakistan from 14 November 1993 until resigning on 2 December 1997.

Khalid Amir Khan (born 2 December 1934) was a Pakistani landowner, diplomat and politician. He served as ambassador to Hungary , Tajikistan , and Uzbekistan in the 1990s, and played a major role in the politics of the Punjab and especially the Sargodha district .

Daultana was born in Luddan in 1916, the son of Nawab Ahmad Yar Khan Daultana, a wealthy Punjabi landowner. [1] He belonged to the Daultana clan of the Johiya tribe. [2] His father was a supporter of the Unionist Party in the Punjab, whilst his uncle Chaudhry Sir Shahab-ud-Din was the first speaker of the Provincial Assembly of the Punjab. [3]
