The following is a list of all the World Championship medalists crowned on the various legs of the World Triathlon Championship series. While the men and women's elite championships were decided over the full series, Mixed Relay, Under-23, and Junior World Championships were all decided by single races on the Torremolinos grand final.
The championship was organized by the World Triathlon Corporation (WTC) and was the culmination of the Ironman 70.3 series of events that occurred from August 19, 2012 through August 11, 2013. Athletes, both professional and amateur, earned a spot in the championship race by qualifying in races throughout the 70.3 series.
