Gurdev Singh Rupana (13 April 1936 - 5 December 2021) was a Punjabi short story writer. He won the Sahitya Akademi Award in 2020 [ 1 ] and was a finalist for the Dhahan Prize in 2019 for his short story collection Aam Khaas .
Dalip Kaur Tiwana (4 May 1935 – 31 January 2020) was one of the foremost novelists and short-story writers of contemporary Punjabi literature. She won awards, both regional and national, and was a widely translated author. She retired as Professor of Punjabi, and Dean, from Punjabi University, Patiala.
