Members of the Bullingdon Club in 1866. The Bullingdon Club was founded more than 200 years ago. Petre Mais claims it was founded in 1780 and was limited to 30 men, [1] and Viscount Long, who was a member in 1875, described it as "an old Oxford institution, with many good traditions". [2]

In 1990 he started his undergraduate study at the University of Oxford where he was awarded a demyship at Magdalen College, Oxford, [5] and in 1993, he received an upper second class (2:1) bachelor's degree in Modern History. [6] [13] Whilst there, he was a member of the Bullingdon Club. [14]
