Chesterfield County Public Schools is the local school system, and has received the U.S. Department of Education's Blue Ribbon Award. Chesterfield County is the home to more than sixty public schools. There are 40 elementary schools, 12 middle schools, 10 high schools, and 3 technical schools for high school aged students.
