The 6.5mm Creedmoor designated as 6.5 Creedmoor by SAAMI, and as 6,5 Creedmoor by the C.I.P. [4] is a centerfire rifle cartridge introduced by Hornady in 2007. [6]It was developed by Hornady senior ballistics scientist Dave Emary in partnership with Dennis DeMille, the vice-president of product development at Creedmoor Sports, hence the name.
The .338 Ruger Compact Magnum is based on the .375 Ruger cartridge, which originated through the cooperation of Hornady and Ruger. The case is of rimless design, having a base and rim diameter of .532 in (13.5 mm), the same diameter as the belt on the .300 H&H Magnum, the .375 H&H Magnum, and their derivatives.
On the other hand, the proportions of .325 Winchester Short Magnum promote good internal ballistic efficiency that allows the .325 Winchester Short Magnum to fire shorter lighter bullets at slightly higher muzzle velocities whilst using less propellant than the classically proportioned 8×68mm – that has 5.58 ml (86 grains) H 2 O cartridge ...
Although it is somewhat shorter than the .308, the .30 TC fires a 150-grain SST bullet nearly 200 fps faster. The .30 TC also propels the 150-grain SST faster than the 2.494" .30-06. When loaded with the 165-grain SST bullets, the .30 TC has a 50 fps advantage over the .30-06, which has a velocity of 2,850 fps.

The 6.5mm Grendel is an intermediate cartridge jointly designed by British-American armorer Bill Alexander, competitive shooter Arne Brennan (of Houston, Texas) and Lapua ballistician Janne Pohjoispää, as a low-recoil, high-precision rifle cartridge specifically for the AR-15 platform at medium/long range (200–800 yard).
The American ammunition manufacturer Hornady got the 300 Precision Rifle Cartridge [15] SAAMI-standardized in 2018. [ 16 ] [ 17 ] In 2019 it got C.I.P. -standardized as the 300 PRC. [ 18 ] The .375 Ruger cartridge has functioned as the parent case for the .300 Precision Rifle Cartridge (300 PRC), [ 19 ] which is essentially a necked-down ...
The .375 Ruger cartridge case was used by Hornady as the basis for new long-range cartridges, since it had the capability to operate with high chamber pressures (65,000 psi (448.16 MPa) P max piezo pressure according to the SAAMI), which combined with a neck and barrel throat optimized for loading relatively long and heavy very-low-drag bullets ...
