F4 (Flower Four) or JVKV was a Taiwanese boy band consisting of Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu, Ken Chu, and Vic Chou. The group F4 was formed in 2001 after the Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden that they starred in was widely successful.

Jerry Yan (Chinese: 言承旭; pinyin: Yán Chéngxù), born Liao Yangzhen (Chinese: 廖洋震; pinyin: Liào Yángzhèn), is a Taiwanese actor, model and singer. A former member of boy band group F4, Yan is known for his lead role as Daoming Si in the Taiwanese drama Meteor Garden and its sequel. [2] [3]
Born in Santa Monica, California, on August 7, 1978.After graduating, he moved to Taiwan to pursue a career in entertainment. [citation needed] He learned to breakdance as a teenager and competed in numerous dance competitions throughout the '90s [1] and featured in the 1998 breakdancing-themed music video for Jason Nevins' remix of Run-D.M.C.'s "It's Like That".
