CDMA-V means Verizon CDMA. Most new phones from Straight Talk on Verizon towers support VoLTE. They have got rid of most of the non-VoLTE on their site. By the way, I am talking about Straight Talk site. My brother had a branded version of the S7, but he had to SIM swap it about a year and half ago, but since then, it can get VoLTE by itself.
Right. It's not an Android, not a smartphone. It's just a cheap feature phone locked to Straight Talk. Has a 3" display with 176p resolution. Yes, 176p. FYI: iPhones have 640p, HD starts at 720p, 1080p is full HD which all top tier Androids have; many new top tier Androids this year will even have QHD 1440p like the LG G3.
With Tracfone rebranding, you can switch between the Tracfone brands without unlocking the phone. I know people on here have used Tracfone, Total Wireless, and Straight Talk phones on PagePlus without unlocking the phone. I have took Total Wireless and Tracfone phones to Straight Talk, and Tracfone phone to Total Wireless without unlocking them.
My current primary TF is this Moto e6 that I got at Walmart, but it was a Straight Talk e6. I started a chat and asked to activate it on TF. At activation the TF chat rep transferred my airtime from a Moto e5 that had issues. The e6 has been working fine on TF. I tried rebranding a different Straight Talk phone but that didn't work out.

Straight talk has a few good deals on their locked phones (e.g. Moto G7 Optimo Maxx for $50, e7 for $40) right now. But their service is expensive. People seem to say these phones will work locked on tracfone; so [1] Can I activate the phone on tracfone network with the (straight talk) sim that...
I have bought an Android through straight talk. Once my monthly unlimited plan ends on October 8, is it possible to use the phone simply as a device to connect to Wi-Fi, or does Straight Talk block that somehow?
I bought a couple of the $45 cards for my phones and once I logged into Straight Talk's web site to add them to the Reserve, I am not seeing the link for Reserve for either phone. The web site indicates: Unlimited customers: Cards are added automatically and your Service End Date is extended...
Based upon the high speed data allowance, you would be better served bringing your own telephone and purchasing either the AT&T Mobility or T-Mobile SIM card from Straight Talk. According to reports in this forum, Verizon limits its LTE speed on Straight Talk.
Last November I bought a couple of the straight talk pixel 6a phones for 100 each from walmart.com. When I attempt to activate them, tracfone says they are not in their system and there is nothing they can do about it. My local Walmart and walmart.com support both said they cannot scan them / nothing they can do about it.
