And Swimming along with Faces is Mac Miller in his purest form so it’s hard for a lot of people especially newer fans to have any other albums in their top 3. Then a lot of those fans also enjoy Good:AM and The Divine Feminine since GAM is raw hip hop and TDF is a side of Mac we don’t get to see a lot.
To me, Mac is one of the few artist that does not have a song that I would say is bad. He has some that are worse than his others, but I havent heard any Mac song that I did not at least think was pretty good. Even though it is the bottom of my list, I still love the songs on TDF, its just not as good as the other albums in my opinion.
You will go thru shit young man that will cause you to understand his later things more as you progress through life. I listened to Mac for my middle school life, high school life, and adult life. I'm 25 years old and I still listen to Mac everyday. Just don't be afraid to have your own thoughts, interests, opinions, etc.

Very good question, so I know Mac honestly treated all projects regardless of what their status was as full connective compositions with an outlying feel and message but I remember seeing an interview where Mac himself was asked if he will make more mixtapes going forward or stick to the album thing and to quickly paraphrase he said he respects and loves mixtapes since he came up on them ...

I believe only 1 or 2 songs were marked explicit. It felt like his family didnt want the darker songs/bars (which i understand) that Mac has always included and been open about. Also if you listened to the Jon Brion interview Mac would obsess and try multiple different things to tweak until he found what was perfect.
