I tried to download The Weather Channel App for Windows 10, but The Weather Channel App is not showing in The Windows Store. I checked to see if I had a download for the Weather Channel App saved on my main computer, but I don't have a saved download because it was installed directly from The Windows Store, not a download.
I uninstalled the Weather Channel app because my profile showed too many cities on list. I went to the app screen and uninstalled the Weather Channel, but Windows store shows it's still installed. Control panel program list shows it is not installed. How can I re-download a fresh copy of the Weather Channel.

But there is no Weather Channel app that comes with Windows 10 unless it was installed by your PC manufacturer. I don't even find a Weather Channel app for Windows in the Microsoft Store app to help you install. You can go into the Microsoft Store app in Start Menu, type Weather in it's search box to browse through the apps that are available.
Then I went back to normal mode and tried clearing browsing history, clearing download history, and clearing all the weather.gov cookies and data, and none of these attempts worked. Then I cleared cached images and files.
As a special bonus question, do you think Microsoft customers will see precipitation and snow accumulation added to the Weather App? This has been requested in Windows 10's Feedback Hub. Regards,
Weather Channel Desktop App load when 1st downloaded, but will not load. Tried using compatibility setting 4 Windows XP (Service Pack 2 & the w/ 3) no luck System I am running is Windows 7 (64 bit) If I redownload it works fine 4 about a week and then I have the same problems
I have given up on the Weather Channel Desktop App on my Windows 7 Ultimate machine. To even install it results in wild swings in screen resolution, resulting in a complete mini disaster where that machine is concerned. I will retain that app on my Windows XP Professional machine where it works as it was designed to work.
At the top left of the Weather App, click the 3 lines (more button) and choose Favorites From there you should be able to remove one of the locations If that does not work for you, please let me know . . . _____
