West Point Lake is a man-made reservoir located mostly in west-central Georgia on the Chattahoochee River and maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE). The Chattahoochee river flows in from the north, before flowing through the West Point Dam , which impounds the lake, and continuing to Columbus, Georgia .

Originally located near West Olive (Port Sheldon) on Lake Michigan (1916–1927) it re-located to Duck Lake, near Whitehall, Michigan, in 1927 the property was acquired by the Nature Conservancy in the early 1970s and is now part of Duck Lake State Park. Lusk Reservoir is located next to Michie Stadium at the United States Military Academy at West Point. It is open for fishing in the Spring and early Fall, and usually freezes over during the winter months. The volume of the reservoir is required knowledge of all freshmen (plebes) at the Military Academy.
The common game fish in Keystone Lake are carp, northern pike, tiger muskellunge, largemouth bass, black crappie, yellow perch and bullhead catfish. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission stocks the lake with trout prior to the start of trout season in April. The lake is also open to ice fishing when the conditions permit. [6] [8]

George B. Stevenson Reservoir is a 142-acre (57 ha) manmade lake that was engineered by Gannett Fleming Corddry & Carpenter, Inc. and constructed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1955 as part of the flood control project on the West Branch Susquehanna River. It is one of four such dams in the river basin.
