Danielle Balbuena [3] (born June 13, 1997), [4] known professionally as 070 Shake (pronounced "oh seven oh shake"), [5] is an American rapper and singer. She is best known for her guest appearance on English singer Raye's 2022 single "Escapism", which peaked at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100, peaked atop the UK Singles Chart, and won Song of the Year at the 2024 Brit Awards.
"Escapism" is a song by the British singer-songwriter Raye featuring the American rapper 070 Shake. It was released independently through Human Re Sources on 12 October 2022, as the third single from Raye's debut studio album, My 21st Century Blues (2023), and as a dual single with "The Thrill Is Gone".
At the 2024 edition of the Brit Awards, Raye broke the record for the artist with the most wins at a single ceremony, receiving British Artist of the Year, Best New Artist, Songwriter of the Year—becoming the first female recipient—Best R&B Act, British Album of the Year (for My 21st Century Blues), and Song of the Year (for "Escapism").
