It may incorporate as a 3rd Class city if the population is between 3,000 and 29,999. [2] There is more flexibility in government for 3rd Class cities than 4th Class.
Missouri City is a city in Clay County, Missouri, United States. The population was 217 at the 2020 census. [4] It is part of the Kansas City metropolitan area.
The latter stream, crossing the state and cutting the eastern and western borders at or near St Louis and Kansas City respectively, has a length within Missouri of 430 miles (690 km). The areas drained into the Mississippi outside the state through the St. Francis , White and other minor streams are relatively small.

Washburn is located in southwest Barry County along Missouri Route 90 just west of Missouri Route 37. Seligman lies approximately 3.5 miles to the south and Cassville is about eight miles to the northeast along Route 37. [18] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.90 square miles (2.33 km 2), all land. [19]
