The Social Security Death Index (SSDI) was a database of death records created from the United States Social Security Administration's Death Master File until 2014. Since 2014, public access to the updated Death Master File has been via the Limited Access Death Master File certification program instituted under Title 15 Part 1110.

Since 1989, a total of 101 people were executed by the State of Missouri. All were convicted of first-degree murder and all were executed by lethal injection, although lethal gas remains a legal method of execution. Before April 1989, all executions were carried out at the Missouri State Penitentiary in Jefferson City.

The Missouri Digital Heritage Initiative is a collaborative effort that expands the amount of information available online about Missouri's past. In 2007, Secretary of State Robin Carnahan proposed this landmark initiative to further Missourians’ access to information about the history of Missouri and local communities.
Logan was born in Richland Township, Tama County, Iowa in 1867. His mother died in 1876, and his brothers, Hank, Johnny and Lonny, moved to Dodson, Missouri to live with their aunt Lee Logan. Until at least 1883, Harvey made his living breaking horses on the Cross L ranch , near Rising Star, Texas .
Now its death is under investigation. Missouri conservation agents believe the bear was fatally shot in Washington County on Thursday, July 21, according to a statement sent to McClatchy News.
