New York State Route 400 (NY 400) is a 16.91-mile (27.21 km) freeway located within Erie County, New York, in the United States.The northwest end is connected to the New York State Thruway (Interstate 90 or I-90) and the southeast end terminates at NY 16 in the town of Aurora.
The Cayuga–Seneca Canal is a canal in New York, United States. It is now part of the New York State Canal System. The canal connects the Erie Canal to Cayuga Lake and Seneca Lake and is approximately 20 miles (32 km) long. A multi-use trail runs beside a portion of the canal.

US 219 is a freeway for its entire length in Erie County. About 2 miles (3 km) from the county line, US 219 connects to NY 39 at an interchange west of the village of Springville. [10] The highway continues to the northwest, connecting to CR 49 (Genesee Road) 3 miles (5 km) later and CR 233 (Rice Road) after another 6 miles (10 km).
