France Travail (English: France Employment Agency), previously Pôle emploi (French pronunciation: [pol ɑ̃plwa]; English: Employment Centre), is a French governmental agency which registers unemployed people, helps them find jobs and provides them with financial aid.
The Agence nationale pour l'emploi, or ANPE (English: "National Employment Agency" or "National Work Agency") was a French government agency which provided counseling and aid to those who are in search of a job or of training. The ANPE was created on 13 July 1967.
Pointe-aux-Trembles (French pronunciation: [pwɛ̃t o tʁɑ̃bl]) was a municipality, founded in 1674, that was annexed by Montreal, Quebec, Canada, in 1982.This was the last city to be merged into Montreal until the 2002 municipal reorganization.
Its traffic declined in the 1950s and it closed in 1984 when Via Rail transferred service to lines headed into Montreal Central Station. The City of Montreal purchased the building and the western end was converted as a metro station and the remainder of the building was adapted for business use. It currently houses a Joe Fresh outlet.
