Tiara made for the French princess Marie-Thérèse, Duchess of Angoulême, 1820. A tiara (from Latin: tiara, from Ancient Greek: τιάρα) is a jeweled head ornament.Its origins date back to ancient Iran, which was then adapted by Greco-Romans.

Geraldine of Albania received the Royal Diamond Tiara at the wedding in 1938. Her tiara had 28.05 carats of old European and single-cut diamonds and 4.80 carats of baguette diamonds, the tiara has a floral base relating to her being called "The White Rose of Hungary" and is topped with a diamond ram's head relating to Skanderbeg.
The tiara is made of gold, comprising a plain base covered in brilliant-cut diamonds, on which rest nine individual sapphire and diamond ornaments. The central ornament is slightly larger than the rest, which are progressively slightly smaller than the preceding one; each alternate ornament is set with a single central octagonal step-cut or oval-shaped Burmese sapphire.

The centrepiece at the front of the diadem was originally a single large square-cut emerald, aligned with one of its diagonals along the median line, which weighed 12 carats (2.4 g).
