Matthew Charles Berry (born 2 May 1974) is an English actor, comedian, musician, and writer. He has appeared in comedy television roles in The IT Crowd, Garth Marenghi's Darkplace, The Mighty Boosh, Snuff Box, What We Do in the Shadows, Krapopolis, and Toast of London, the last of which he also co-created.

The IT Crowd is a Channel 4 British sitcom set in London. It was written and directed by Graham Linehan. It stars Richard Ayoade, Chris O'Dowd and Katherine Parkinson as the information technology staff of an office.
The part was taken by fellow Darkplace actor and eventual IT Crowd co-star Matt Berry. He later returned in the second series in 2005, to play the part of the belligerent shaman Saboo. [15] Ayoade continued his association with The Mighty Boosh in the third series, reprising his role and acting as script editor. [24]
In 2010, she once again appeared in The IT Crowd, this time playing Victoria Reynholm, the wife of Douglas (Denholm Reynholm's son, played by Matt Berry, making her the daughter-in-law of her previous character), who mysteriously vanished two weeks into their marriage whilst washing the car.
