Lighthouse Place Premium Outlets is an open-air outlet store shopping mall located in Michigan City, Indiana. The mall is one of Michigan City's major tourist attractions. [ 1 ] It is one of Northwest Indiana's most popular shopping centers, receiving an estimated one million visitors annually as of 2017. [ 1 ]
WSS, formerly known as Warehouse Shoe Sale, is a national retail chain of shoe stores headquartered in Los Angeles, California, with 92 retail outlets as of January 2020. [1] Its parent company is Eurostar, Inc. [2] The company now known as WSS traces its roots to 1977 when Eric Alon first sold shoes at a swap meet.
BJ's Wholesale Club Holdings, Inc., commonly referred as BJ's, is an American regional membership-only warehouse club chain based in Marlborough, Massachusetts, operating in the eastern United States in addition to Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Tennessee, and Alabama.
That year, the Hudson's department store chain and architect Victor Gruen developed Northland Center in the Detroit suburb of Southfield. The mall was built in 1986 as Manufacturer's Marketplace/Prime Outlets at Birch Run. [3] In 2010, the mall was bought by Simon Property Group's Premium Outlet division and renamed Birch Run Premium Outlets. [4] The mall's busiest months are August and December, the former due to back-to-school shopping and vacationing travelers. [5]
