The Loop, formerly Methuen Mall, is a shopping mall in Methuen, Massachusetts, United States. It was built in 1973 as an enclosed shopping mall on a 60-acre (240,000 m 2 ) site and initially included Howlands and Sears as its anchor stores , as well as 70 other retailers.
While Magic Theatres are patterned after the Loews Cineplex Entertainment model, they focus on urban markets. Each complex is around 60,000 square feet (5,600 m 2 ) with multiple concession areas, 10 to 15 screens with SDDS stereo sound, stadium seating and a capacity of 3,200 to 5,000.

The theater's name comes from the indigenous Mahican term for "the place downstream" in relation to the Housatonic River.
