Drexel and Company Building, also known as the Drexel Building, is a historic bank building located in the Rittenhouse Square East neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built between 1925 and 1927, and is a six-story, building with basement and penthouse in a Renaissance Palazzo style.

The architecture of Philadelphia is a mix of historic and modern styles that reflect the city's history. The first European settlements appeared within the present day borders of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the 17th century with most structures being built from logs. By the 18th century, brick structures had become common.
In the latter part of the 20th century, the Philadelphia Convention Hall and Civic Center became outmoded. With the opening of the Spectrum in South Philadelphia, fewer big sporting and entertainment events used the Civic Center. Political conventions, too, outgrew the capacity of the Civic Center to host them.
