The 2024 UCI Road World Championships was the 97th edition of the UCI Road World Championships, the annual world championships for road bicycle racing. It was held between 22 and 29 September 2024 in Zürich , Switzerland , alongside the UCI Para-cycling Road World Championships .
The 2024 UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup (also known as the Tissot UCI Track Nations Cup for sponsorship reasons) was a multi-race tournament over a track cycling season. It was the fourth series of the UCI Track Cycling Nations Cup organised by the UCI .
Before that, the event had always been a summer race, held in late August or the first week of September (except for 1970, when it was a mid-season summer event). An exception to this was in 2023 , when it was held in August as part of a combined multi-disciplinary UCI Cycling World Championships , intended to be held every four years.
