Varsity Netball is a netball league featuring teams representing universities in South Africa. It was formed in 2013 . UFS Kovsies were the inaugural winners and they remain the league's most successful team, having won five titles.
The Varsity Cup tournament was founded in 2008, featuring the rugby teams of eight universities. Varsity Sports was created as an offshoot in 2012. The 2024 Taini Jamison Trophy Series, also known as the 2024 Cadbury Netball Series, was the 14th Taini Jamison Trophy series. It featured New Zealand playing England in three netball test matches, played in September and October 2024. [1] [2] After winning the two opening tests, England eventually won the series 2–1.
