Unsigned road continues north of Lloydtown-Auroa Road as to King Street then becomes 4th Concession Road ending just before the Holland River. Briefly across the Holland River is a short roadway called Keele Lane which end shortly at Tornado Road.

Lieutenant-Governor John Graves Simcoe gave the order for Yonge Street to be extended to Holland Landing in 1793, the first step toward the establishment of a community where Aurora now stands. Yonge Street opened between 1794 and 1796.
The paper merged with the Aurora Banner in 1989 to form the Era-Banner. The Era-Banner continues today under Metroland Media Group, with Ian Proudfoot publishing from 1996 to 2016 and Dana Robbins next.
