Chetek is a town in Barron County in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 1,726 at the 2020 census, [1] up from 1,644 at the 2010 census. [2]
It is in the far southwestern corner of Rusk County, approximately 12 miles east of Chetek, Wisconsin. Potato Lake is one of Rusk County's 88 named lakes, and can be accessed by a ramped public boat landing. It is a drainage lake [1] that is connected to McDermott Creek and Potato Creek. Potato Creek eventually flows into the Chippewa River.

Duck Cove is a cove in Cumberland, Maine, United States. It is part of the larger Broad Cove, which sits between Sunset Point, at the southern end of Yarmouth, and the eastern edge of Cumberland Foreside. State Route 88 (formerly the Atlantic Highway) runs beside the cove (as Foreside Road south of the Yarmouth line and Lafayette Street beyond it).
There are no exits within the town; the nearest access points are Exit 126 in Chetek and Exit 135 in Cameron. According to the United States Census Bureau , the town has a total area of 34.9 square miles (90.5 km 2 ), of which 33.2 square miles (85.9 km 2 ) is land and 1.8 square miles (4.6 km 2 ), or 5.11%, is water.
Lake Shetek covers 3,596 acres (1,455 ha) to a maximum depth of just 10 feet (3.0 m). [1] This modest depth is wholly typical for the Prairie Pothole Region. [2] The shoreline totals 31.7 miles (51.0 km), [1] about 85% of which is in private development. [2]
Duck Creek is a stream in Brown and Outagamie counties, Wisconsin, in the United States. [1]Duck Creek was named for the many ducks seen along its banks by trappers. [2] In the Menominee language, it is known as Sēqsepaketaheqkoneh, an archaic name meaning "duck landing place".
