Carmel (/ ˈ k ɑːr m ə l /) is a suburban city in Hamilton County, Indiana, United States, immediately north of Indianapolis.With a population of 99,757 as of the 2020 census, the city spans 49 square miles (130 km 2) across Clay Township and is bordered by the White River to the east and the Boone County line to the west.
The John Kinzer House is a historic house in Carmel, Indiana. It was built in the 1840s by John D. Kinzer, a settler who lived here with his wife and their seven children. [2] Kinzer purchased the land from the federal government and initially built a much more modest cabin which still stands next to the main house; the cabin was built in 1828. [2]
