   If you buy Rust as a solo player, and do not have tons of free time to play 24/7. Play on modded servers that are like 10x+. The game is kind of fun like that as a solo with a life. It's much much easier to just hop on and off and not care what happens between sessions.

   The solo wolves get beat down hard, so be prepared for many MANY loses, even after you're a skilled Ruster. But imo, this playstyle makes Rust feel about as hardcore as a game can feel, especially when you pull off a play against a group or even a duo. You just can't beat it. Take every loss as a win.

    Press F1 and type gc.buffer 2048 into the console. The default is 256 as explained in the dev post. This forces the game to go longer without doing asset "garbage collection."
