The Speedway of Nations is a motorcycle speedway event for national teams, held each year in a different country. The first edition of the competition in the current format took place in 2018. [ 1 ] It was the first time an official FIM international pairs competition was staged since the World Pairs Championship ceased in 1993.
From 2006 until 2017 the Grand Prix was held at the Latvijas Spīdveja Centrs in Daugavpils. In 2023, the event returned to Latvia but at the new venue known as Riga Speedway Stadium.
