Ram Swarup (Hindi: राम स्वरूप; () 12 October 1920 – () 26 December 1998), born Ram Swarup Agarwal, was an Indian author and one of the most important thought leaders of the Hindu revivalist movement.
The inception of Emami Group took place way back in mid-seventies, in West Bengal, when two childhood friends, R.S. Agarwal and R.S. Goenka left their corporate jobs with the Birla Group to set up Kemco Chemicals, a cosmetic manufacturing unit in Kolkata, in 1974. [3] In 1978, it acquired the agri-product company Himani. [4]
Nagarwala allegedly confessed to the crime on 26 May, and was convicted in a ten-minute court trial. In his book on investigative journalism, S.K. Aggarwal called the speed of this trial "unique in legal history". [1] Nagarwala was sentenced to four years imprisonment and died while in custody. [3]

Vasudeva Sharan Agrawala, also Vasudeva Saran Agrawala, (1904–1966), was an Indian scholar of cultural history, Sanskrit and Hindi literature, numismatics, museology, and art history. [2] He received the Sahitya Akademi Award in the Hindi language in 1956 for his prose commentary Padmavat Sanjivani Vyakhya . [ 5 ]
In 1986, he wrote the book Corporate Numbers Game, along with co-author Ram K Piparia. He also authored the book The Art of Wealth Creation . Agrawal was awarded the Rashtriya Samman Patra by Central Board of Direct Taxes for a consistent track record of highest integrity in tax payments for a period of 5 years from FY95-FY99 .
