When I open file explorer, and I go to the downloads folder, the system app crashes. When it does, I have to stop it using task manager. It also causes other problems with the system, like my laptop screen going white, (I have a monitor), and my taskbar not coming up, (I have it so that it pops up when you hover over it ).
What I would normally do to fix this is first try to restart Explorer.exe, to do that open up Task Manager, click on More details below then go to the Details tab, look for Explorer.exe and then end the task, to re-open Explorer.exe, on the same task Manager click on Action and then Run, on the Run box type in Explorer.exe then hit enter.
