Stonebridge Shopping Center. Stonebridge Shopping Center, formerly Cloverleaf Mall, was a shopping mall located in Chesterfield County, Virginia on U.S. Route 60 just west of State Route 150. The mall opened in 1972 and featured two anchor stores, J. C. Penney, and Sears. A third anchor, Thalhimers, opened a year later.
In 1885, Linton Miller, Webster Rhoads, and Simon Gerhart opened a dry goods store in Richmond, Virginia. The store—Miller, Rhoads, & Gerhart—opened with an initial investment of $3,000. In 1888, Miller, Rhoads, & Gerhart moved to 509 East Broad Street. Simon Gerhart relocated to Lynchburg, Virginia in 1890 and opened his own store there.
