Dayton was a post-disco funk band, formed in Dayton, Ohio by Chris Jones (trumpet, keyboards, vocals) from the band Sun and Shawn Sandridge (guitar, vocals) from Over Night Low. Derrick Armstrong (vocals), Kevin Hurt ( drums , percussion ), Jenny Douglas (vocals) and Rachel Beavers (vocals) completed the line up.
"How Long" is the debut single by the English band Ace, from their 1974 debut album, Five-A-Side. It reached No. 3 on both the US and Canadian charts, and No. 20 on the UK Singles Chart.
