The Scotland national men's cricket team represents the country of Scotland. They play most of their home matches at The Grange, Edinburgh , as well as at other venues around Scotland. Scotland's history in cricket dates back to the 18th century, and during the 19th and 20th centuries they frequently played touring teams and counties.
It is played under the rules of Twenty20 cricket and is the shortest form of the game. The Scotland national cricket team played its first T20I match on 12 September 2007, against Pakistan as part of the 2007 ICC World Twenty20, losing the match by 51 runs. [1]
