Sanatoga is a community and census-designated place (CDP) that is located in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is situated immediately east of the borough of Pottstown on U.S. Route 422 .
As of 2020 there were 36.75 miles (59.14 km) of public roads in Upper Pottsgrove Township, of which 5.92 miles (9.53 km) were maintained by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and 30.83 miles (49.62 km) were maintained by the township.
The site was chosen and plans to build the station were announced in 1969, by the Philadelphia Electric Company (now PECO Energy, a subsidiary of Exelon). It is located approximately one mile south of Sanatoga, PA.
