The Resurrection of Christ (1499–1502), also called The Kinnaird Resurrection (after a former owner of the painting, Lord Kinnaird), is an oil painting on wood by the Italian High Renaissance master Raphael. The work is one of the earliest known paintings by the artist, executed between 1499 and 1502.
The San Marco Altarpiece (also known as Madonna and Saints) is a painting by the Italian early Renaissance painter Fra Angelico, housed in the San Marco Museum of Florence, Italy. It was commissioned by Cosimo de' Medici the Elder , and was completed sometime between 1438 and 1443.

Saint Sebastian is a painting of the early Christian saint and martyr Saint Sebastian painted c. 1501–1502 by the Italian High Renaissance artist Raphael. Part of his early works, it is housed in the Accademia Carrara of Bergamo, Italy. [1] In 2022 the painting was included in an exhibition held at the National Gallery in London.
Both paintings feature an angel playing music, in keeping with the tradition of medieval representations of angel musicians. [1] The figure of the angel musician dates back to the 13th century. It has evolved over the centuries to proclaim the glory of an illustrious figure from the Bible, such as the Virgin Mary, Mother of God.
