A Masonic "Grand Lodge" (or sometimes "Grand Orient") is the governing body that supervises the individual "Lodges of Freemasons" in a particular geographical area, known as its "jurisdiction" (usually corresponding to a sovereign state or other major geopolitical unit).

In Freemasonry, the first three Masonic degrees constitute the fundamental degrees in all Rites they are called Blue Lodge of Craft degree.. Over time, various systems of optional "high Masonic degrees" or "Side Degree" have been added to these three fundamental degrees, practiced in workshops known as perfection lodges or chapters.

April 5, 1958 The ceremony of Laying the Cornerstone for the new building was conducted during the term of the 1958 Lodge Master, Kenneth E. Hill. The Cornerstone was laid by Most Worshipful Leo V. Anderson, Grand Master of Masons in the State of California under the auspices of the Grand Lodge and in Full Form.
