Grounded is a coming-of-age story by Mark Sable and Paul Azaceta about a boy without super-powers who is sent to a high-school for super-powered teens. It was originally published as a six-issue limited series by Image Comics and was later collected in a trade paperback edition.
The episode received mostly positive reviews from critics. The episode received a C+ rating from The A.V. Club ' s Eric Thurm, who commented that he had "no idea what actually 'happened' in 'Grounded Vindaloop'." [3] Max Nicholson from IGN gave the episode an 8.0 out of 10, calling it "easily one of the smartest episodes of Season 18 thus far."
