Warmaster is a ruleset for tabletop wargames written by Rick Priestley, published by Specialist Games (a division of Games Workshop), and set in the Warhammer Fantasy setting. It is different from Warhammer Fantasy Battles in both appearance and gameplay.
In 2000, Priestley designed the 10mm-scale mass combat Fantasy wargame Warmaster. He does consulting work on a freelance basis and is a consultant at River Horse Games. [5]

The 10mm Auto (also known as the 10×25mm, official C.I.P. nomenclature: 10 mm Auto, [7] official SAAMI nomenclature: 10mm Automatic) [8] is a powerful and versatile semi-automatic pistol cartridge introduced in 1983. Its design was adopted and later produced by ammunition manufacturer FFV Norma AB of Åmotfors, Sweden. [12]

The 1000 series were some of the most robust, sturdy 10mm handguns ever built, easily handling the power of this potent cartridge. [citation needed]
The cartridge was made by necking down and slightly stretching the .40 S&W case, which itself derived from the 10mm Auto..400 Corbon. This cartridge was designed to produce 10mm Auto ballistics in a cartridge that could be chambered in a .45 ACP pistol with a simple barrel swap.

I have very limited experience with the 10mm but shoot .40 S&W, 9mm, and magnum revolvers often. With the exception of firing the revolvers in single action I have never noticed a great deal of difference in ...
