The PDC World Masters, known for sponsorship purposes as the Winmau World Masters and formerly known as simply The Masters, is a professional darts tournament organised by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). The tournament was introduced in 2013 and has been held at the Marshall Arena in Milton Keynes, England, since 2015.
Ashton qualified for the 2022 Women's World Matchplay by being in the top 8 in the PDC Women's Series after 12 events. She beat Chloe O'Brien 4–0 in the Quarter-finals but lost 5–4 to Aileen de Graaf in the semi-finals. [12] Ashton played at the 2023 PDC World Championship. She was defeated in the first round by Ryan Meikle 3–2. [13]
The Masters featured the top 24 players in the PDC Order of Merit after the 2023 PDC World Darts Championship, with the top 8 automatically qualifying for the second round.
