    Hi CraneMW. I am Dave, I will help you with this. This is a known issue with Recuva, the files you have recovered are corrupt and have not been recovered correctly as a bit for bit copy of the original files. The only real option you have is to try another 3rd party recovery tool to see if you can recover those files successfully.

I can't get Windows File Recovery app (winfr.exe) to run despite my PC having Win10Home 64bit, v2004 build19041.610. According to the CMD that appears, "winfr.exe is not a recognized as an internal or external command, operable or batch file."
