Drum replacement is the practice, in modern music production, of an engineer or producer recording a live drummer and replacing (or adding to) the sound of a particular drum with a pre-recorded sample. For example, a drummer might play a beat, whereupon the engineer might then replace all of the snare hits with the sound of a hand-clap.

A Rotary Vacuum Filter Drum consists of a cylindrical filter membrane that is partly sub-merged in a slurry to be filtered. The inside of the drum is held lower than the ambient pressure. As the drum rotates through the slurry, the liquid is sucked through the membrane, leaving solids to cake on the membrane surface while the drum is submerged.

Seven-inch single for "Amen, Brother" The Amen break is a drum break that has been widely sampled in popular music. It comes from the 1969 track "Amen, Brother" by the American soul group the Winstons, released as the B-side of the 1969 single "Color Him Father". The drum break lasts seven seconds and was performed by Gregory Coleman.
The official release of the single was 4 June (digital download) and 14 June (12-inch, 7-inch and CD). The album went on general release in the UK on 2 July 2007. The Chemical Brothers supplied a new track for the Heroes soundtrack, titled "Keep My Composure".

[3] Rob Copsey of Official Charts Company called the production from Two Inch Punch and Stephen Harris a "nifty new production", and wrote that the song is "the rousing and emotional Kodaline you'll probably already be familiar with".
Different Drum is the first compilation album by Linda Ronstadt to be released by Capitol. Half of the tracks (those shown as having been recorded in 1967 and 1968) are taken from the second and third albums by The Stone Poneys ; while the other half are from her first three solo albums.
