Coco Gauff defeated Aryna Sabalenka in the final, 2–6, 6–3, 6–2 to win the women's singles tennis title at the 2023 US Open. [1] It was her first major title. Gauff became the first American teenager to win the title since Serena Williams in 1999, and one of three teenagers to win the title within five years, following Bianca Andreescu in 2019 and Emma Raducanu in 2021.
