The 2021–22 Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A season, also known as Tippmix Férfi NB I/A for sponsorship reasons, is the 91st season of the Nemzeti Bajnokság I/A, the highest professional basketball league in Hungary.
The league comprises 14 teams. A NB I/A season is split into a league stage and a playoff/playout stage. At the end of the league stage (14 teams) the top 5 teams play another league stage, another 5 play with each other, and then the top 8 teams qualify for the playoff stage.
Hungary's best period in international basketball competitions came in the 1940s to the 1960s. It was when the national team won several medals at the EuroBasket ( 1946 , 1953 , 1955 ), and reached the Olympic Games on four out of the first six editions of the event overall.
The 2020–21 BBL season was the 34th season of the British Basketball League, the top British professional basketball league, since its establishment in 1987. The season featured 11 teams from across England and Scotland.
