Henry Barclay Swete FBA (14 March 1835 in Bristol – 10 May 1917 in Hitchin) was an English biblical scholar. He became Regius Professor of Divinity at Cambridge in 1890. [ 1 ] He is known for his 1906 commentary on the Book of Revelation , and other works of exegesis.
A popular commentary, Rambam La'Am ('Rambam for the Nation'), was produced in 1971 by Rabbi Shmuel Tanchum Rubinstein (published by Mossad Harav Kook). [ 16 ] [ non-primary source needed ] This 20 volume set is widely used in daily Rambam study, in the Israeli Chabad and Religious Zionist communities.
