The Wadiyar dynasty,(Kannada: [(ʷ)oɖejɐru]) also referred to as the Wadiyars of Mysore (also spelt Wodeyer, Odeyer, and Wadeyar), is a late-medieval Indian royal family of former maharajas of Mysore [1] from the Urs clan originally based in Mysore city.

Krishnaraja Wadiyar II (1728 – 25 April 1766 [1]), was the eighteenth maharaja of the Kingdom of Mysore from 1734 to 1766. He ruled as monarch during his entire rule, first under the dalvoys , and then, for the last five years, under Hyder Ali .
Sir Kumarapuram Seshadri Iyer (also spelled Aiyar) (1 June 1845 – 13 September 1901), was an Indian advocate who served as the 15th Dewan of Mysore from 1883 to 1901. He was the second longest serving dewan of Mysore after Purnaiah.
