Puerto Rico competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris from 26 July to 11 August 2024. It was the territory's twentieth consecutive appearance at the Summer Olympics. It was also the fourth consecutive games in which Puerto Rico earned at least one medal, it being the first time this happened in Puerto Rico's Olympic Games history.

Puerto Rico's performance was underscored by two major accomplishments. Jaime Espinal achieved a historic milestone by securing a silver medal in the 84 kg men's freestyle wrestling event. This marked Puerto Rico's initial wrestling Olympic medal; Espinal's silver was just the country's second silver in Olympic history, the first one being in 1984.

WIPR-TV was created as a result of lobbying for public broadcasting in Puerto Rico, beginning in the 1950s. The station went on the air for the first time on Three Kings Day (January 6), 1958, becoming the first educational television station in Latin America, and the facilities were dedicated in memory of revered Borinquen entertainer Ramón Rivero (Diplo).
