3 Idiots is the soundtrack to the 2009 Indian Hindi-language film of the same name written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani and co-written by Abhijat Joshi.The soundtrack featured five original songs and two remixes composed and produced by Shantanu Moitra and lyrics written by Swanand Kirkire.
It was released in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam on 7 December 2018, [5] along with the full soundtrack album; [6] whereas the album for the Hindi version was released on 9 December 2018. After five singles – "Sai Shirdi Sai", [33] [34] the theme song from the film titled "The Oracle" [35] the male and female versions of "Jwalamukhi" [36] and "Teri Nazar" – were released on 5 April 2019, 14, 20 and 26 February and 13 March 2020, the full soundtrack in its entirety was released by Sony Music India on 20 March 2020. The songs "Besharam Rang" and "Jhoome Jo Pathaan" were released as singles in Tamil and Telugu apart from its original Hindi version. [42] The theme tracks have gibberish, sparing English vocals and instrumental interludes released with the soundtrack album.
