The Home Team Academy (HTA) is the training institute for various organisations of the Ministry of Home Affairs in Singapore, including the Singapore Police Force, the Singapore Civil Defence Force, the Central Narcotics Bureau, the Singapore Prison Service, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority, and the Internal Security Department, amongst other agencies.

The Protective Security Command (ProCom) [1] is a specialist counter-terrorist police unit of the Singapore Police Force (SPF). ProCom was formed to build up Singapore Police Force's public security capabilities and project police presence at security-sensitive locations. On 8 July 2016, the unit was commissioned.
Nonetheless, all 35 NPCs were successfully opened, although some were delayed due to slower urban development in some areas than expected. The 33rd NPC, Marina Bay Neighbourhood Police Centre had been opened on 6 February 2010. The APD was formed as the Airport Police Division on 1 November 1970 when the Singapore Police Force took on responsibility for airport security at Paya Lebar Airport. In 1981, airport operations - and the APD as well - moved to Changi Airport. In April 2000, APD shifted to a new police station to make way for the construction of Terminal 3. [4]
