Math Blaster for 1st Grade is a 1999 educational video game in a line of educational products originally created by Davidson & Associates and continued by Knowledge Adventure. The game was re-released in 2000 as Math Blaster Mission 2 .
The initial release was a collection of four unrelated activities with a space theme, with later versions connecting the activities with a simple narrative and introducing the character Blasternaut. Spin-offs intended for older children included Alge-Blaster! in 1985 and Math Blaster Mystery in 1989.
Sir Scrabble, a resident of a magical town known as Nonsense, follows a boy named Tad and a girl named Terry on the way to a Halloween party. Coming across a pumpkin patch, they stumble upon an enormous pumpkin and land right into the town. There, they discover that the signs nearby have missing or scrambled letters.
In the fall it gets transformed into a pumpkin paradise that draws tens of thousands of visitors to its mid-October festival, capping a week that starts with a contest featuring 2,000-pound pumpkins.
